Who we are
On April 16, 2022 our son Cyrus was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The days and years that followed were marred by devastating decisions, fear, and the heartbreak of watching our then three year old son fight for his life.
But through it all, we were met with immense love and support from our family, friends, and surrounding communities. We were fortunate to have a massive village, holding us up and carrying us through our darkest days.
In the spirit of our community never letting us walk alone, and to celebrate Cyrus’ win over childhood cancer, we started Cyrus’ Crusade. A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to support childhood cancer families through small acts of kindness, like our Hospital Go Bag Project.
We are so grateful to everyone who cared for our family so well while Cyrus beat cancer, and for those who are joining us now to support families like ours. Together, our small acts of kindness can make a big impact on the childhood cancer community. Thank you for joining us and ensuring that no family faces childhood cancer alone.
